Description
This course is a one-semester, introductory, work-based experience course. Students observe, participate in, and develop a mentoring relationship in an environment related to their chosen program of study for the purpose of career exploration using project-based learning. A total of 45 hours in the field during the semester and a one hour weekly seminar is required. Students complete career assessments and develop learning goals. Self-assessment is integrated using reflection assignments. All community placements must be approved by the Cooperative Education office.
